Welcome to AP English Literature
I look so forward to exploring the world of literature with you. I understand that many of you have enrolled in this course with hopes of passing the AP exam and earning college credit, but I hope you leave with more than that. In this class, we will explore various forms of literature and discuss the universal themes of humanity. I would like for you to leave my class a more enlightened individual than when you first entered, one who may not enjoy all forms of literature, but be appreciative of them as an art. Never again shall you say, "Ugh! that was terrible" or "Ugh! that was boring" without concrete evidence as to why you believe this to be so.
