This summer will be a chance for all of us to get to know each other. Though the guided discussion prompts focus on the literary nature of novels, discussion responses are open for any logical and educated observation in your required readings. Two discussions are required per week, one answering the guided prompt, and another responding to the observations of your classmates. Robert Frost once said, "Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or self confidence". I concur with this statement, and it will be the building block of our online and class discussions. Be respectful of everyone's comments.
Comment below with your name and choice book for this summer by May 28th.
My book of choice is A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry. I'm really excited to get my hands on it!#Can't Wait!*:D!<3

I have decided to read The Color Purple. I've always heard people say it's an amazing story, and now is the perfect time to find out for myself! :)

I am reading The Crucible by Arthur Miller. I have already started on it but I have not got either one of my required books yet.

I chose to read "Catch 22" by Joseph Heller. Someone told me it was about war and I need a dictionary to read it. Should be good.
