Angry Birds are angry because they don't have wings and they get smashed into stuff with a sling shot....do you want this to happen...okay maybe that was a bad analogy.
First...obviously you are all intelligent. What you do with this intelligence is your choice of course, but don't let it sit in your brains and waste away!
Second...even though it is your choice to let those minds go to waste if you wish...you are in AP Hulsey world. Wasting intelligence will not be allowed. Neither will lack of ambition. I get it, its summer. I will understand if you are a little late on a post. Email me, we will work it out. Do NOT post mediocre work. Do NOT let 3 posts go by and think you don't have to do them. You do!
Third...do not make the mistake of not putting your best in these posts. I am monitoring your progress so that I can determine how far we have to go in the fall. Don't let me think you are not as smart as you are.
Now that I am off my soapbox...you realize how much I believe in you guys right? Not to get all sentimental...but next year is your last year in my class. Humor me and be successful like I know you can.
Those of you who haven't posted your email addresses on the below post...DO IT. Those of you who have, thank you and check your emails! Respond to me so I can ensure you recieved it and add you to my address book.
"Invisible Man" is a little different right? It may help for you to research the author and the historical relevance of the text. This will help you understand a little more. Notice on of the finals posts require you to ponder on things the narrator collects in his pockets. It may be helpful for you to start creating that list now as you read. Don't forget you should be working on your dialectical journals that will be taken up THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES NO EXCUSES.
Some of you; QUIT BEING BUTTHEADS! (yes, I can say that.) DO YOUR WORK!
